The 1st No-Dig Shanghai Conference is jointly organized by Underground Space, Shanghai Road & Bridge (Group) Co., Ltd., the Trenchless Pipeline Engineering Professional Committee of the Shanghai Society of Civil Engineering, and Tangxing Technology, and hosted by Tongji University. It aims to promote academic exchange and industry collaboration in the field of trenchless technology and underground infrastructure. The conference brings together internationally renowned scholars, industry experts, and leading enterprises to discuss cutting-edge technologies, engineering practices, and future trends in no-dig construction.
Shanghai, as a global metropolis and a pioneer in underground space development and municipal infrastructure, provides an ideal venue for this inaugural conference. Through keynote lectures, technical presentations, and exhibitions, the conference aims to strengthen international cooperation, promote technological innovation, and foster sustainable development in trenchless engineering.
In addition, the conference will be held in conjunction with two other important international events: the 2026 Workshop on Frontiers of Underground Space and the International Workshop on Geotechnical Risk and Uncertainty (IWGRU2026). Participants who register for any one of these conferences will be welcome to attend the others free of charge, creating a unique shared platform for interdisciplinary exchange across trenchless technology, underground space, and geotechnical risk.
